SUMMARY:Virtual Armed Forces Day 5k Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Show your support for our Armed Forces and the National D-Day Memorial by participating in a patriotic themed Virtual 5K Run/Walk. Our annual event is typically held Armed Forces Day weekend on the campus of the National D-Day Memorial. Due to continued COVID restrictions and concern for the health of our staff\, volunteers\, and visitors this year’s event will be virtual. By participating virtually\, you can choose your own 5K course and complete the distance when it is convenient for you. We anticipate participation from across the country. \nOur virtual event will be enhanced by the RaceJoy App. Participants will be able to track their speed\, distance\, and hear inspirational / educational cheers while using the app race weekend! Use of the app is not required. But\, we highly recommend it!
