SUMMARY:2nd Annual Humble Creek 5k/10k Trail Race
DESCRIPTION:Humble Creek is a rolling cross country course with a mix of single-track\, fields\, gravel roads and a creek crossing or two on a beautiful farm in Altavista. There will be awards for overall M/F winners as well as age group awards. Technical shirts are guaranteed to all participants registered before January 17th. Price increases of $5 per event will take place on January 17th so take advantage and sign up early to guarantee shirt size and save money. There will be race morning registration any shirts leftover will be on a first come basis. Online registration will close at midnight on January 27th but paper applications will still be accepted after this deadline. \nThere will be one water/aid stop on the 5k course and two for the 10k. Post race there will be hot and cold food and beverages. \nThere will be Packet pickup only on January 29th at Moore’s in Altavista (101 Edgewood Ave.) from 12-5 pm. There will also be packet pickup and race day registration on site race morning from 7:45-8:30 am. All participants will be asked to sign a waiver at packet pickup.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Blue Ridge Trail Runners in the far corner of the SnowFlex parking lot on Candlers Mountain for a Monday fun run. This run is usually 5 miles and while the route is not marked participants wait for everyone at each turn. This is much more of a relaxed pace compared to the Blue  Ridge Trail Runners Wednesday fun run and is intended to help get new trail runners out on some good trails and a way to learn the trails at Candlers as well.
