DESCRIPTION:The Peaks of Otter Christmas Classic 5k is celebrating 41 years! Join runners and walkers of all ages and abilities for this central Virginia holiday tradition. Children are also invited to participate in the “Peaks Junior” 1 Mile and 1/4 Mile fun run. Proceeds support the Bedford Area YMCA. This event is known for its friendly faces\, caroling volunteers\, and fun post-race celebration. The Town of Bedford Christmas Parade is traditionally held just after the event. \nEvents include; 5K run/walk\, Peaks Jr. Mile\, and a virtual 5k option \nLOCATION & COURSE FOR 2021\nOur new race HQ will be located at Bedford Baptist Church\, 1516 Oakwood St. Bedford\, VA 24523.
