SUMMARY:28th Annual John A. Stephenson Memorial Youth Run
DESCRIPTION:Youth 13 & under gather in Riverside Park each Fall to run a variety of distances. Participants 3 & under complete a 1/8 mile course\, 4-5 years of age run 1/4 mile\, 6-7 run 1/2 mile\, and 8-12 run 1 mile. In this way\, the Lynchburg community has celebrated the life and contribution Dr. John A. Stephenson made to children’s health for 27 years.

The historic and scenic race course can be found on the property of Wolf Branch Farm in Forest\, Virginia. Participants cross hay bails\, creeks\, and challenge themselves against the very best teams.  There is even an “open” race for coaches\, parents\, and the general public at 2:00pm
