DESCRIPTION:Races may be cancelled right now\, but Running is not. More people are running now more than ever and we want to help fill the void of cancelled races through the Lynchburg Road Runners Strava Segment Series.  \nWhat is it?  \nParticipants will be challenged to complete a different strava segment in the Lynchburg and Forest area each week. The new segment will be announced Friday morning and participants will have until the following Thursday to complete.  \nAre there Prizes?  \nYes!! Our sponsor Riverside Runners will be giving away a $25 gift certificate every week and there will be a grand prize of a pair of shoes given away at the end of the series.  \nWhen?  \nWeekly starting May 29 through July 9th \nHow do you participate? \nJoin the Lynchburg Road Runners strava group: edit the strava club: https://www.strava.com/clubs/265067  \nRun or walk the segment during the week period.  \nRunners will get an entry for the free pair of shoes for each week completed and a chance to win the weekly prize of a $25 gift certificate to Riverside Runners. Winners will be announced every Friday with the announcement for the new segment!  \nRules?  \nAll runners are advised to practice social distancing while participating.  \nRunners must upload their run to Strava to participate. \nOnly runs completed during the designated week for the segment will count toward that week. Runners have 7 days to complete that week’s segment (Friday-Thursday).  \nRunners must be Lynchburg Road Runners members to be eligible to win a prize.
