Races may be cancelled right now, but Running is not. More people are running now more than ever and we want to help fill the void of cancelled races through the Lynchburg Road Runners Strava Segment Series.

What is it?

Participants will be challenged to complete a different strava segment in the Lynchburg and Forest area each week. The new segment will be announced Friday morning and participants will have until the following Thursday to complete.

Are there Prizes?

Yes!! Our sponsor Riverside Runners will be giving away a $25 gift certificate every week and there will be a grand prize of a pair of shoes given away at the end of the series.

When?

Weekly starting May 29 through July 9th

How do you participate?

Run or walk the segment during the week period.

Runners will get an entry for the free pair of shoes for each week completed and a chance to win the weekly prize of a $25 gift certificate to Riverside Runners. Winners will be announced every Friday with the announcement for the new segment!

Rules?

All runners are advised to practice social distancing while participating.

Runners must upload their run to Strava to participate.

Only runs completed during the designated week for the segment will count toward that week. Runners have 7 days to complete that week’s segment (Friday-Thursday).
